  • Stop the Spread!

Thu 17 Sep 2020 Mrs Raynor

    Dear Parents,

Now we are all back in school we would like to thank all parents for following the new procedures in school.

    The Government instructions state:

It is critical that everybody observes the following key behaviours:

    • HANDS - Wash your hands regularly and for 20 seconds.
    • FACE - Wear a face covering in indoor settings where social distancing may be difficult and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet e.g. the supermarket.
    • SPACE - Stay 2 metres apart from people you do not live with. This is so IMPORTANT and MUST be done on the school playground, outside the school gates and on the street.

We have staggered start times and end times to reduce the amount of adults coming to school at one time, it is so important that you stick to your Bubble times. We have one way systems in place to help social distancing and to avoid bubbles crossing. Hence staff members asking you to collect children quickly and reminding people not to gather. We are doing our job to keep our school community safe.

  • End of a school year 2020

Fri 17 Jul 2020 Mrs Raynor

    Good morning St Mary’s Mates,

I would like to say a HUGE thank you for all your hard work this year, both in school and at home. It has been amazing to see how much learning has continued during lockdown. Like so many of you I have been working at home since March, but I am so looking forward to joining all of you and the staff in September. Although after being away for so long, it will be so strange for all of us, I am sure we will all settle back into our school routine very quickly and not be too worried about September. We will all support each other as St Mary’s Mates and make sure we are safe in our happy, friendly school. The teachers will have lots of fun learning activities ready, as well as lots of opportunities to catch up.

I would like to say goodbye and praise our Y6 pupils as they move on to High School. Thank you so much for everything you have done at St Mary’s. Good luck for the future.

I wish you all and your families a wonderful summer holiday, and excitedly await our new school year.

Keep safe, be good and pray.

    God bless

    Mrs Raynor
