EFS Staff Champions

All St Mary's staff have a shared vision and are included in EFS staff training throughout the Emotionally Friendly School process.

Following whole staff EFS audits and planning meetings, staff volunteer to be EFS Champions, to support staff and pupils emotional wellbeing.

EFS Staff Champions:

Mrs Brown - Deputy Headteacher, DSL and SENCO

Mrs Sabatino - Attendance Lead and Mental Health Lead

Miss Raynor - Early Years

Mrs Maher - Key Stage 1

Mr Chadwick - Key Stage 2

Mr Sabatino - Site Manager 

EFS Pupil Champions

Previously known as St. Mary’s Guardian Angels, volunteers from Year 5 can apply to become an Emotionally Friendly School Champion and are then trained by the EFS Staff champions.

EFS Pupil Champions ensure the playground is a happy and inclusive place for all.

They help to develop children's:

• Communication Skills
• Listening Skills
• Friendship Groups

EFS Champions are friendly and approachable children who are easy to see in their white    hi-vis jackets.
