  • PRESS RELEASE: St Mary's RC Primary School recognised in The Parliamentary Review

Wed 31 Mar 2021 Mrs Kinman

St Mary's RC Primary School has been recognised as a best practice representative for the upcoming 2021 edition of The Parliamentary Review; an independent publication which looks at how key British organisations are responding to different political and economic challenges.

The publication is apolitical and reviews the latest events in parliament from a non-partisan perspective. The organisations who write for The Review are – for the most part – apolitical themselves, although some are unapologetically forthright with their views of certain political parties or individuals. This makes for a fascinating series of articles to suit your tastes and challenge your convictions.

Success for organisations of any size does not always come easily, and The Parliamentary Review is indispensable for anyone who seeks to make a difference in their sector. It highlights significant developments and concerns for leaders up and down the country.

The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Kwasi Kwarteng says “this year’s Parliamentary Review reflects on a tumultuous and extraordinary year, globally and nationally.”

  • Pending: New St Mary's Mates *chirp chirp*

Mon 15 Mar 2021 Miss Raynor

    *UPDATE*

Mr Sabatino has shared with us that 3 eggs have cracked but no chicks have hatched yet. He can hear chirping from inside some eggs! We are expecting some little fluffy friends in the next day or two... which egg will hatch first?

    Hello St Mary's Mates,

We are 'egg'cited to share with you the news that we are 'eggs'pecting some new fluffy arrivals to join our St Mary's Family.

Mr Sabatino is kindly looking after 12 quail eggs in an incubator. The eggs have been keeping warm for nearly 18 days, very soon they will hatch into beautiful Spring chicks for us all to enjoy and celebrate new life.

The eggs are numbered 1-12 and each teacher has been allocated an egg. Their class has decided a name suitable for a chick. We are all eagerly awaiting the arrival of our first St Mary's Mate. The class whose egg hatches first will win treats to celebrate the new life of a chick.

Nursery have named Miss Raynor's egg 'Chickchick'

Nursery have named Mrs Rhodes' egg 'Thunderbird'

Reception have named Mrs Taylor's egg 'Chickadee'

Year 1 have named Mrs Kinman's egg 'Isaac'

Year 2 have named Miss Sackfield's egg 'Nicky the chicky'

Year 3 have named Mrs Brown's egg 'Jom'

Year 3 have named Mrs Royle's egg 'Lil DJ'

Year 4 have named Mr Johnson's egg 'Eggbert'

Year 5 have named Mr Chadwick's egg 'Breakfast in Bed'

Year 6 have named Mr Loynd's egg 'Dino Nuggie'

Mr Brown and Mrs Wood have named Mr Sabatino's egg 'Quinn'

Mrs Raynor has named her egg 'North quails'

Let the race commence! *chirp chirp*
