At St. Mary’s our children follow a reading scheme that includes a variety of different types of reading books from various publishers, to ensure they have access to a wide range of texts.
We use the following Reading resources:

Pearsons Bug Club
These books are labelled using the Book Band levels. Please help your child by reading at home as often as possible.

What sorts of career paths are open to me? There are many career pathways that you could aim for if you choose to study English at a higher level, such as: Author, Editor, Technical Writer, Scribe, Reporter, Teacher, Paralegal, Lawyer, Librarian, Publisher, Copywriter, Researcher.
