Year 2 Perfect Poetry Performers

Year 2 have been looking at different poets and styles of poetry this week. We created our very own Revolting Rhyme in the style of Roald Dahl, for the Revolting Rhymers competition. We then looked at a variety of poems to perform and studied what it takes to make our performances interesting. Finally we looked at a very funny poet called Murray Lachlan Young and his poem titled “Don’t”. We created our very own version of ‘Don’t’ and performed them to other classes.
