Stone Age No Pens Day

On Wednesday last week the school took part in the nationwide No Pens Day. Year 3 decided it would be a Stone Age day. We created Stone Age houses from caves to roundhouses covering the Paleolithic through to the Neolithic eras. We also engaged our Archaeology Minds and created and studied Stone Age remains to help out inquisitive enquiry. In addition we role played some of the characters that you may expect to see in the Stone Age.

All in all it was a really creative day and the houses that the children made were absolutely fantastic.
