Arts Week – Australia

For the final Continent of the week Year 3 have entered Australia. We have split our research into New Zealand and the Haka. We have listened and learnt to the history of the Haka and how it has galvanized a nation and incorporated Pacific Islanders.

We have also looked at Aboriginal Art and how they decorate their musical instruments, boomerangs and more. The children have created aboriginal art pebbles and a fan to keep cool in the Antipodean Sun.
