Weather WARNING!

You may be aware that extreme heat weather is predicted from Sunday on wards. 

We are not expecting school to close, but we will take a common-sense approach to cope with the hot weather over the first half of next week.  ie. ventilation, plenty of water, sunscreen, refrain from physical activity etc. 

We are also fortunate to have a number of large trees where pupils can shelter outside and keep cool and we will limit children's time in the sun.

Please make sure your child brings their suncream, sun hat and water bottle to school.

We are also allowing children to wear their own suitable light and cool clothing ie shorts and t-shirts, summer dresses (preferably with shoulders covered or plenty of suncream applied).

Portable hand held fans are also allowed, please label these.
