Our Mission

Year 5C enjoyed welcoming parents, staff and pupils to the first Celebration Assembly of 2018.

 

The theme of the assembly was Our Missions in life. The children spoke about how John the Baptist was given a mission to spread the news that Jesus was here and then to also baptise Jesus in the River Jordan. Jesus was then given his own mission by God to speak to all mankind – the afflicted, the poor, the sick, the wealthy.

 

We then relayed through some of the children’s thoughts, their missions for 2018. It was a really lovely assembly with a string message of how we should act on our Christian journey.
