Croque Monsieur - Mr Crunch

The French are renowned for their culinary and gastranomic delights so Year 3 took one of their most famous exports (cheese and ham toastie) and made them for a mid morning snack.

We had chefs mixing ingredients, pouring, whisking, slathering and eventually taking them to Head Chef to be oven cooked for 10 minutes before we devoured them.

And they were Absolutement Excellent! So much so that poor Mariella was disappointed to miss out on a second helping!
