Music at St Mary's

Music plays a large part at St. Mary’s.
Our musical week begins with Choir after school on a Monday.

Our Choir has performed at many locations including:
-Channel M where we showcased a Christmas song;
-M.E.N Arena where we have joined many choirs in the Young Voices concerts;
-St. Mary’s R.C. Church Swinton where we entertained the older parishioners during their Christmas party and led Easter celebrations;
 -Buile Hill Banqueting suite where we joined other young people from Salford in a Holocaust Memorial service.

Tuesdays lift our spirits with singing practice in the school hall. Miss Dixon leads us with her rocking guitar! We practice songs and hymns for  school masses and celebrations.

Thursday is Guitar day. Miss Dixon leads the guitar group at lunchtime. We know how to earn our lunch!
