News from Year 3
As part of their Science topic on healthy eating, Year 3 took part in a “Bellybusters” game and created their own healthy sandwiches. Here are some of the thoughts from the year 3 children on the day:
“We played a healthy eating game called Bellybusters. In four teams we had to move around the board collecting fruit and junk. The winners of the game were the ones that collected the most fruit.”
“Each team leader had a red apron to collect the fruit. It was great fun!”
“In science Year 3 have been learning about healthy eating so they designed and made healthy sandwiches.”
“Year 3 enjoyed their sandwiches – they were delicious!”
