Year 2 visit the Cenotaph

As part of their history topic on Remembrance Day, year 2 visited Swinton Cenotaph. They also looked at old newspapers and medals to help them find out about World War 1 and 2.

Year 2 have been learning about their eyes and the work of the charity Vision Aid. Part of this involved designing and making their own pairs of spectacles. Here you can see some of the results.
