School Meals

Payment For School Meals
Dinner money must be paid on the first day of the week and should be placed in an envelope marked clearly with your child’s name and class. Cheques are acceptable made payable to Citywide Caterers. If a pupil is absent during the week, a credit is given the following week.

A cafeteria style system is operated in school. There is a varied menu and the children are encouraged to choose a balanced meal. Citywide have a website to view their weekly menus - www.myschoollunch.co.uk/salford

Packed Lunch
Pupils may bring a packed lunch instead of taking the school meal. This must be brought in a proper container with a clip on type lid. The container should be clearly marked with the child’s name. Children are allowed to bring drinks to accompany their packed lunch. The drink must be in a secure carton or plastic bottle with a push up lid. Pupils may only change from the school meal to a packed lunch at the beginning of a term or half term.

School Milk
Milk is provided free for all children up to the age of five years. Children who are on free school meals are also entitled to free school milk. If your child is over 5 and not on free school meals there is a charge for milk paid termly.

Children, can if they wish have fluoride milk, a consent form will need to be completed by the parents.
