St Mary’s has been awarded Silver in the PSQM (Primary Science Quality Mark).  To achieve Silver, first quality teaching and learning of science must be evident throughout the school.  Our children work as scientists, with a challenging and exciting curriculum both indoors and outside.  We are now working towards the Gold award.

St Mary’s is now a lead school in the SLIC (Science Leaders Innovation Cluster).  We will be working in partnership with Dr Lynne Bianchi, Head of SEERIH (Science & Engineering Education Research and Innovation Hub).   We hope to identify five schools to work with us in this new and exciting cluster.
