Are you worried about your child or another child?
At St Mary's we take the issue of safeguarding very seriously. All our staff have undergone specific safeguarding training and through our curriculum, we educate our children about how to stay safe and who they can talk to if they are worried or upset.
We operate a "Time to talk" room twice a week, in the school library, where children can talk confidentially to a member of staff.
If you have any safeguarding concerns about your child or another child please contact

E-Safety
In today's world we are using an ever increasing amount of technology to communicate with others all over the world. Though this provides exciting opportunities for both adults and children; it also means that we have to be very aware of the dangers and risks it can pose, especially for our children. There are many measures that we can put into place to help safeguard our children including educating them about how to keep safe when using such technology.
Our school E-safety policy has been written to help raise awareness to both staff, pupils and parents of such issues and the steps we need to take to minimise these risks. There are aslo websites that offer further advice on this matter and these are listed below.
