The reason for the existence of St Mary’s Roman Catholic School, Swinton is to bring each child to the knowledge, love and service of Almighty God and to help each child to develop his/her full spiritual, moral, academic and physical potential. This will be achieved in a caring atmosphere reflecting the true spirit of Christ’s love and compassion for all. The school is an integral part of St Mary’s Parish and the children and their families will be encouraged to consider themselves as participating members of Mary’s parish community.
